INVITATION FOR RENAISSANCE RECORDER PLAYERS

Dear Renaissance Recorder Players,

 

We are very happy to be celebrating our fifth season of the Boston Recorder Orchestra, America’s only Renaissance recorder orchestra!  Every year has been a big step for us in the ambitiousness of our repertoires and the size of our orchestra. 

​

This year we have big plans!

 

This season we want to make it possible for recorder players who would like to play with BRO but are not able to attend regular rehearsals to join us in a few pieces and perform with us in our big, annual Spring Concert! 

 

So, we are extending a warm invitation to all advanced and professional players who are experienced with Renaissance music and Renaissance recorders.  

​

Our Spring Concert will be  Friday evening May 22, 2020. We will perform in the grand sanctuary of First Church in Cambridge, 11 Garden Street. 

 

If you would like to perform with us we ask that you attend at least  2 or 3 rehearsals.  

These are our rehearsal dates:

 

January 12

February 2

February 23

March 8

March 29

April 19

May 3

May 17

 

We usually rehearse in Medford, Massachusetts, 3-6pm.

 

On May 22, 2020 we will rehearse in First Church in Cambridge at 5:00pm and start the concert at 7:30pm.
